MANUELA ZERVUDACHI

Au fil de l'eau

After her last Parisian exhibition in 2010, Manuela Zervudachi is exhibiting next Spring Au fil de l’eau, and seizes the occasion to strengthen her long term friendship with Agnès Monplaisir.

Recently transferred to a new space in Saint-Germain des Prés, the Agnès Monplaisir Gallery presents with this new exhibition, more than twenty sculptures by Manuela Zervudachi. Through her bronzes, this artist born of an Irish mother and a Greek father, reveals to us a fluid and personal universe, where the subtle force of nature becomes tangible. Always in contact with the key materials of the sculptor, she shapes in clay and plaster the ephemeral of the elements, thus capturing their essence, their movement and traces. The thrum of a cascade, the depths of the sea, a shelter from the forest or even a moonscape, are all fixed in bronze.
